Taylor Linens

history_history

Our great uncle, James Taylor, started importing damask linens from Ireland in 1922. Eighty years later, Taylor Linens intertwines the needs of today with the workmanship of yesterday. Special attention is given to the smallest details – the tiny pintucks each taken by hand, the sentimental embroideries, the antique-inspired laces and fine fabrics. We are continuing our family tradition by offering quality products and excellent service.

Our quilts are made of 100% cotton fabric and batting, and are quilted by hand with fine, close stitches. We use imported European dyes for our printed fabrics and the yarns for our wovens are vat dyed. The fabrics are tested for colourfastness to sun and washing in warm water. All our quilts and linens are washed, preshrunk and soft to the touch. Our pillows are filled with white goose feather. Lots of love, untold hours, and skilled hands have created these coveted heirlooms.
